Deportivo Cali announces the transfer of right back Luis Manuel Orjuela, he is joining Ajax for a fee of 3.6 million euros.

While not mentioning a specific team, Real Sociedad have confirmed that Carlos Vela is leaving the club to join Major League Soccer. Vela will remain in LaLiga until the January transfer window. LAFC's inaugural season will kick off in March of 2018.

"Real Sociedad and Major League Soccer (MLS) have reached an agreement in principle to transfer Carlos Vela to a team in the American league during the winter market. Carlos Vela will continue [with Real Sociedad] until January of 2018, when he leaves to MLS."

BREAKING: Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade says Coutinho's staff, led by Giuliano Bertolucci, is already in Barcelona to finalize a deal. Bruno Andrade says the Catalan giants are ready to pay €90m immediately, and a further €30m as bonuses to Liverpool for Coutinho.  Bertolucci is also conducting talks to take Paulinho to Barcelona but his arrival should happen in January.

Barcelona have announced that they intend to sue Neymar for breach of contract after his departure to Psg  The Catalan club are demanding €8.5m (£7.8m) in damages, plus the return of an undisclosed bonus paid to the player, having renewed his contract at the club last year   and a further 10% of that amount in interest. They have insisted that PSG take responsibility for payment in the event that the player cannot do so. Barcelona revealed that they began legal action by presenting a demand at court in Barca  on 11 August and announced that they have also formally brought the case to the attention of the Spanish Football Federation so that it can be passed on to the French Football Federation and to Fifa. The announcement comes after Neymar criticised Barcelona’s board at the weekend, insisting that he was not happy with them and that they “should not be there”.
